Visita de estudiantes de la ETS Arquitectura de la UPM

El pasado 18 de abril se celebró la visita de un grupo numeroso de alumnos de 4º curso de la ETS de Arquitectura de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a las instalaciones de Prehorquisa  en Segovia. El objetivo de este encuentro era exponer el proceso constructivo completo de una fachada realizada con paneles de hormigón arquitectónico: concepción de la fachada, diseño, fabricación, estocaje, transporte a obra y ejecución.

La visita comenzó con la presentación de Prehorquisa, empresa con una dilatada experiencia en este campo de gran atractivo para los prescriptores, especialmente para los arquitectos que apuestan por dotar a las fachadas de sus edificios con su sello particular, algo fácilmente alcanzable con el panel de hormigón arquitectónico. Posteriormente se presentó una de las obras que se están llevando a cabo actualmente, un edificio de viviendas del prestigioso Arquitecto español Rafael de la Hoz, prestándose especial atención en cómo dentro del Departamento Técnico del fabricante se modula y despieza la fachada, y se juega con los acabados finales del cerramiento.

A continuacion se visitó la planta de produccion para comprobar cómo las piezas desarrolladas anrteriormente, son fabricadas y almacenadas en la zona de espera hasta su carga en el camión que las transportará a la obra para su montaje.

Por último, visitamos la obra ubicada en el centro de Segovia, y se constataron varias de las grandes ventajas que aporta, no solo esta solución, sino en general cualquiera basada en elementos prefabricados de hormigón: la rapidez de ejecución, la mayor seguridad al reducirse notablemente la interferencia de operarios con máquinas y otros elementos y materiales, y la calidad del trabajo en sí mismo, que permite llegar a grandes rendimientos de superficie por jornada de trabajo.
